The Spring Palette!
Sunday, March 11, 2012 at 7:04PM Although Houston didn't see much of a fall or winter, spring is here!! One of my favorite times of the year, "springtime" always speaks to rebirth, new beginnings, and upbeat wonderful colors!! There are no more perfect colors than the ones that God created in nature with beautiful flowers, amazing stones, and oh-so-cute animals!! I hope you enjoy seeing the pictures of some of my favorite rooms and fashions-inspired by natures colors of Spring!!

Lavenders!!

Tangerines!

Love the color combo here with white, rich ebony, and the pop of tangerine!!

Aquamarine!

Photographed by Tim Walker.

A color combo mixed for centuries as shown in the wonderful finish on these spectacular old doors!!

Mix the two together and look what an eclectic, wonderful mix ensues, as designed in this living room by Celerie Kemble!

Rich purples have inspired design for years as in these breathtaking fields of lavender!

Painting the ceiling in a room is a great way to give it personality while keeping the flow from room to room!!

Hints of color!

Lavender plaster!! Dreamy in this bedroom!!

Introduce gold with it!! Spectacular!!

Fit for a princess!! I would love to stay here!

Yellows! Oh-so-cute!!!

Pink and turquoise!

Wouldn't this be a fabulous entrance to my new studio!?!

Pinks, whites, and grays!

Neutrals!! Always in fashion!

Happy "Spring Time" everyone!! I hope wonderful new beginnings are in store for everyone!! Till next week when I do a review for Marburger Farms Antique Show In Roundtop Texas!! xo Leslie

What fabulous images. I pinned virtually all of them for future inspiration. Thank you so much for sharing.

These images are stunning...such a beautiful way to start my morning!!
Hi,
Yes, Spring has always been my favorite season. I live in Canada so it is always nice to see the end of Winter and new life outside. My birthday is also in the Spring so that may also play a part. I love all the soft colors of Spring and have a lot of the same photos on my pinterest boards. I planted a Wisteria last year that is supposed to survive zone 4. I am keeping my fingers crossed as I love them, but they don't usually survive our Winters.
Wow...how breathtaking! I must bookmark this so I can come back for future inspiration. Sooooo beautiful, and so happy to know you have a blog. Consider me your newest follower:)
So many wonderful images. Love all the patina blues. Have fun at round top. I have always wanted to go there.
These are some of the prettiest images I have seen in a long time! The colors make me want to get out the paint! Thanks for sharing.
